Looking for a church in Hamilton?

If you're living in Hamilton, Waikato and you've been thinking about joining a church in Hamilton but you don't know which church to go to, I am glad that you're in the right blog. You've made the best decision in your life.

Some people might say, Why do I need to go to a church? I can just pray at my home and still be a christian? Well the question above, we all need each other and we need to go to church and be a part of the church so that we can grow and encourage each other. If you've thinking that I don't need anyone, I don't need to go to church, I've got it all together, then I am sorry to say that you're not right. You've got it wrong. Going to church and being a part of the church is the right thing  to do. 

Below we've listed out a number of churches in Hamilton, you might be interested in checking them out. 

1. Evangelical Church in Hamilton - Grace Evangelical Church

This is what Grace Evangelical Church stands for. Our basis is the whole-hearted commitment to the Lord Jesus Christ as God and Saviour, and to the Bible as God's spoken Word. We believe that the church is not just a building or programme, but rather it is people. People whom God loves, and for whom He sent His Son Jesus Christ to die. 

They're a very welcoming church, and they're passionate about God. They're not a big church, small church around 100 people attending the church. If you like going to a small church, then checkout Grace Evangelical Church in Hamilton. 

2. Pentecostal Church in Hamilton - Activate Church

Activate Church is a pentecostal church located in East Hamilton. It's a church similar to Gateway Church, their belief and values and amazing atmosphere, where you can have fun, dance, jump and worship Jesus. 

Activate Church has a amazing young adult community where you can meet friends and share life with. They also have connect group which runs every week on Wednesday where they meet at a friends house and discuss and pray together.
Activate church also have a Kids church, where your kids can go and learn more about Jesus while you can go the main gathering while your kids are looked after by fun loving people from Activate Church. 

So if you have kids, then Activate Church is the church to go.
They have two gathering on Sunday, the morning gathering starts at 10:30 am and the evening gathering starts at 6pm. If you're somewhere between 18-25 years, the evening gathering will be the best choice. There's heaps of young people in the evening gathering.

3. Pentecostal Church - Manifest Love Church

Manifest Church is also a pentecostal church located in Victoria Street in Hamilton. Pastor Geoff Winter is the senior Pastor. He's got an amazing testimony about how Jesus radically saved him and healed him. They are a church that loves reaching out to people and sharing the gospel of Jesus, teaching and demonstrating the power of the Holy Spirit in healing and deliverance in every cities in New Zealand. 

So if you love reaching out to people and sharing about Jesus to other peoople and want to hang around people who are already doing that, then Manifest Love Church is the best church to go to.
They meet every sunday at Celebrating Age Centre, 30 Victoria Street 10 AM.  

4. Destiny Church in Hamilton

Destiny Church are also a pentecostal church based in Hamilton. They welcome anyone who is searching for truth about God and our Lord Jesus Christ.

5. Arise Church in Hamilton

ARISE Church is pentecostal church located in Hamilton. They believe in the power and significance of the Church and the necessity of believers to meet regularly together for fellowship, prayer and the 'breaking of bread'.Their beliefs are all taken from the Bible and all are foundational to Christian living.
Where the spirit of the Lord is there is freedom. If you are looking for a church that moves in the Holy Spirit and have freedom to dance, jump, twirl and worship Jesus with everything you have, Arise Church is the one for you.Same like Gateway Church and Activate Church, ARISE Church has two gathering every sunday. The morning gathering starts at 10 AM and the evening gathering starts at 5 PM.
